Description
Cable cover is used to protect underground cables from accidental contact with excavation equipment. The cable cover is placed above the cable to give a warning that there are live cables below.
Made from recycled plastic with a high HDPE content, the CCASNZ range is consistently strong enough to comply with the requirements outlined in AS/NZS4702. Contaminant free post manufacture waste is collected from around New Zealand by Astron plastics and recycled in one of their two New Zelaand factories - Auckland and Christchurch.
There are many criteria for AS/NZS4702 Cable Cover to adhere to in order for it to qualify for compliance. All TransNet cable cover bearing the AS/NZS4702 meets all the criteria outlined in the standard, giving you peace of mind.

TransNet Cable cover is manufactured in New Zealand from recycled High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). 3mm and 5mm thick cable cover is available in a number of widths. Custom sizes are available on request but minimum order quantities and lead times will apply.
3mm and 5mm cable cover do not adhere to the stringent requirements of the AS/NZS4702 standard.
